Day 1: Arrive at Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Have breakfast to drive Entebbe to the jetty to transfer you to Ngamba Island. The Island is a chimpanzee sanctuary managed by the Jane Goodall Institute. They usually get the chimps from the wild and look after them, most especially those that are infants and can not take care of themselves. You will reach in time for feeding the Chimpanzee and you will watch them feed. Spend about 1 hour with the chimps and later in the afternoon transfer back to Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at Lake Victoria Hotel, Winsdor/ Sophie’s Motel
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi
This morning have breakfast and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This journey will take you south west of Uganda. You will have a stop over at the equator for photographs and continue to Mbarara where you will have another stop for lunch and then proceed to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. In the evening you may go for a
community walk where you will be entertained in some of the cultural dance of the community. Dinner and overnight at the Gorilla resort / Buhoma community Bandas
Day 3: Gorilla trekking
Wake up and prepare for the unforgettable experience. You will have breakfast to transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before setting off to the forest to track the mountain gorillas. The guide will brief you and at 9:00 am you will set off to the forest for these apes. The time you will take tracking these humble apes is unpredictable however it ranges between 2-9 hours depending on their movement. The activity requires you to go through steep rocks climbing up and down making it tiresome; however the thrill of encountering these giant primates erases the poor memories you went through in trying to find them. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma Community bandas.
Day 4: Return to Kampala
Take early morning breakfast while preparing to head back to Kampala
