3 Days Tour Semliki Wildlife Reserve

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: From Kampala to Semliki Wildlife Reserve
Breakfast early; after which you will be driven to Bundibugyo district, home to Semliki national park. Have a lunch stop over enroute. On arrival at the park, visit the Sempaya hot springs which can be accessed via a short walking trail. Dinner and overnight at Semliki safari lodge or at the Kanyankyu Ecological site (FB)
Day 2: Bird and Primate Walk
Report to Ntandi headquarters after breakfast after which a ranger guide will take you on a nature walk inside the park. You may see chimpanzee, monkeys, olive baboon, elephant, bush pig, buffalo, sitatunga, water chevrotain. You will also see hippos and crocodiles in the Semliki River. You will also carry out the birding activity in the forest. You will see different birds such as spotted-breasted ibis, Congo serpent eagle, chestnut-flanked goshawk, red-thighed sparrow hawk, long-tailed hawk, Hartlaub’s duck, Nkulengu rail, black-throated coucal, chestnut owlet, Bates’s nightjar, black-wattled hornbill, red-rumped tinker bird and Zenker’s honey guide. Return to the lodge and have a relaxation. Overnight at Semliki safari Lodge/Kanyankyu Ecological site (FB)

Day 3: Back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala, ending your safari with your safe arrival.
